Does anyone here know where the song "Shade and Honey" was released, or have an MP3 they could get to me? It's my favourite Linkous song but the tape I used to have it on died a few months back.

I have been a fan of Sparklehorse for about 7 years now. I saw Mark live in 2001 and it was one of the best moments of my life. i was in Leicester and a friend of mine was working back stage and took my shirt to get signed and when he came back Mark was with him, wanted to meet me ... so shy ...I told him how Good Morning Spider got me through one of the hardest parts of my life, literally and he thanked me, shook my hand and went back to his dressing room. Dont remember much else... was too busy floating in my little bubble.

100's of Sparrows is my favourite but to be honest the whole album is the best album ever written ...ever ..

This community is most definitely dead but I must know something if anybody reads this at all. Where can I find an active forum on Sparklehorse? Also where can I find their countless videos? If anybody has them would they mind sending me them?

I figured it wouldn't bother anybody if I introduce myself as a new member since it seems nobody has posted in quite awhile. I recently bought the It's a Wonderful Life Cd and am now a fan of Sparklehorse. Only problem is I can't find any current news of them except word of them working on a new CD which might not be that new of news. Well just wanted to introduce myself. I'm Ricky.

Did anyone else know this exsisted?

60 MINS, Color

A dazzling collection of music films inspired by songs from the acclaimed indie-rock band Sparklehorse's latest album "It's a Wonderful Life." Experimental filmmaker Guy Maddin (CAREFUL), animators the Brothers Quay (THE STREET OF CROCODILES), filmmaker Jem Cohen (BENJAMIN SMOKE) and many other friends of the band took part in creating these video adaptations. Sparklehorse is the brainchild of singer/guitarist Mark Linkous; "It's a Wonderful Life" is the band's third album and includes guest vocals from musical innovators PJ Harvey, Tom Waits and Nina Persson of The Cardigans.

All IMDB came up with was a 9 minute Canadian film called Sparklehorse directed by Gariné Torossian which I've also never heard of. Can anyone shed any light on any of this??
